7 BURKS, including new cap Amy Tickner, were at the August evening game at Woking, which saw Dale lose 3-2. |
Derek Cordon became the first 7th Generation BURK by accompanying his daughter Louisa and Tom Tickner to Dale's game at York, which they won 3-1. |
Nick Carter and Mick Tickner went to the midweek game at Boreham Wood. The match ended 1-1, watched by just 911 fans. |
Solo cap for Barry Gigg at Dorking Wanderers. He was rewarded with two late goals and a 95th minute winner in the 2-1 win for Dale. |
8 BURKS, including 4 new caps were at Maidenhead United for the 2-2 draw. |
History was made at Wealdstone, where incrediby, a BURK (Jack Cook) played for the oppostion and not only that, scored the winner goal in stoppage time. Jack has 3 caps, having attended games with his Dad Paul Cook (a Bath University Maths graduate). Seven BURKS were there to witness the bitter sweet moment as Dale lost the game 3-2. |
After a ten year absense, five BURKS were at Dagenham & Redbridge, where Dale won the game 2-1 |
A big turnout of 24 BURKS, including 3 new caps, were at Bromley. Dale lost the game 1-0. |
Another big turnout of 24 BURKS, including 8 new caps, were at Aldershot. Dale lost the game 3-1. An opportunity to extend the record gap between first and second caps to 38 years was scourned by local Kev Day. |

Five BURKS were at Eastleigh, where Dale won 4-1, with one of their best performances of the season. |
