Peter Vincenti's second-half strike saw Rochdale come from behind to beat struggling Notts County at Meadow Lane.
The hosts had led when Garry Thompson headed in at the far post from Elliott Whitehouse's looping, defected cross.
Ian Henderson then drew Rochdale level, capitalising on a Mike Edwards' back header which had fallen too short.
After the break, a Henderson effort hit the post and fell to Vincenti, who slotted in to win the game and move Rochdale up to 10th in League One.
The Magpies have now lost eight of their last 11 games and remain without a home win since 17 January.
