Grant Holt grabbed a second-half double to ease Rochdale into the third round of the FA Cup at Stevenage's expense.

Holt had the only decent chance of a dour first half, shooting just wide.

But with Leo Bertos, who also hit the bar, running the midfield, Dale began to get on top and Holt headed in after Andy Woodman parried Bertos' shot.

Holt then shot against the post but fired in the second to seal the victory in the last minute after Woodman was sent off for bringing down Bertos.
